Your Role and Responsibilities

Kyndryl Advisory and Implementation Service Line provides advise, move, build, and run services by working in partnership with customers and are dedicated to ensuring that each achieves its peak digital performance.
Your Role:
As a Director in Kyndryl’s Consult Service line, you will lead a team that provide consultative skills and technology expertise to drive sales and deliver customer service requirements. Looking for leaders who are passionate about helping some of the world’s biggest companies make their Journey to the Cloud. Can you break that knowledge down for our clients to show them their opportunities, help them transform their business and associated IT.
Directors are responsible for end-to-end opportunity ownership and working with other Kyndryl resources to support deal closures and delivery in complex, cross-practice deals. This position is for experts with direct experience in Cloud Consulting Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise in IT/Datacenter Modernization, On- Prem / Public Cloud Architecture and Design, Cloud migration of complex workloads and transforming the operating model to support the transformation.
Business Development and Relationship Management : Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders; experience originating deals with C-level clients; lead pursuit teams; participate and lead the proposal development process; contribute to proposal shaping and pricing strategies.
Sales Management : Manage sales plan through opportunity identification, pipeline management, solution development and presentation, contracting, negotiation, and delivery of services leading to future opportunities.
Delivery & Engagement Management : Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
Practitioner Development : Perform the role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Use Case Prioritization, ROI, and Business Case
Service Offering Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry points of view for our service offerings.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Hands on experience architecting and implementing any of the following, Cloud management orchestration tools, HCI, Openstack/Nutanix, Private cloud VMware (IaaS/vCenter/vRA/vRops) Azure, AWS, Hybrid, AKS/EKS, Azure Stack HCI, ARC, Edge computing, Architecture, Engineering, IaC, Terraform, Python, Azure Administrator, Software development and engineering background with hands on coding skills
Strong fundamentals in designing orchestrated solutions with point automation for day-0 architecture/design, day-1 build and day-2 self-service management integrations.
Will be able to drive Self Service Catalog and able adapt to the dynamic needs of the hybrid landscape by incorporating more Day 1 / 2 / 3 operationalized services to enable faster delivery of services with added accountability.
Build enhanced centralized orchestration layer utilizing API integrations to existing and future provisioning processes for the heterogeneous platforms.
5+ years of Proven track record in delivering successful large journey to cloud programs
Proven record of opportunity identification reflecting quarter on quarter growth
$5M+/year signings responsibility combined with revenue responsibility through delivering Cloud consulting services.
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
Experience with assessing IT portfolios to drive strategies, optimization, and modernization
Experience in defining Cloud Transformation Roadmaps and Cloud Operating Model
Proven track record in developing strong client relationships with a focus at the executive levels
Demonstrated business acumen including negotiation skills and contact/profit management
Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated executive engagement and proven ability to present strategic information to, and drive change across a broad range
Certifications with deep expertise in public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, Vmware)
Direct experience and success performing in a delivery oversight role, providing leadership and direction in areas such as program startup and governance, executive communications, revenue forecasting and reporting, and problem resolution.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Certifications on relevant hyperscalers.
Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, EKS, AKS, GKE) and related technologies
Experience with Automation, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecops, Data modernization.
Application Discovery, Optimization, Prioritization, Segmentation, Workload Assessment and Placement.
Familiar with systems integration/system & process management.
Knowledge of industry-leading and accepted and software and hardware solutions.
