IBM Financial Services Security Consultant in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Security Consultant within the Financial Services Market at IBM which contains clients across Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance. Cybersecurity is one of the most critical issues of our generation. Your Role and Responsibilities

You will demonstrate technical expertise, as well as delivery leadership in the Financial Services Market. Our Security Consultant drives delivery excellence across all security domains and helps organize project approaches and teams for client delivery. Provide oversight in critsit (critical client situations) issues with all FSS clients to their final resolution. You will be a role model for practitioners in the IBM security practice.

Your Abilities & Skills

  • Demonstrate credentials in one or more core security domains, industry experience, and represent overall IBM security services capabilities

  • Ability to analyze your client environments to develop delivery models while working with customer organizations and internal IBM competencies

  • Ability to project delivery and maintain customer relationships across all FSS clients

  • Ability to manage a governance cadence with MSS and all FSS clients and account teams

  • Use your expertise in the security industry to contribute content and advice to the offering development process

Your Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio

  • Development of client presentations and statements of work with solution design teams

  • Provide practice leadership by facilitating a community of like-minded practitioners to share and exchange ideas for practice growth and improvement

  • Help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery

  • Participate in project delivery,

  • Provide oversight for critsit client issues and help organize internal IBM teams to address customer concerns

  • Conduct and lead customer calls and Critsit executive and customer calls

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 5 to 8 years of experience in management consulting and systems integration.

At least 5 to 8 years of experience working in projects related to one or more of the core security domains

At least 3 years of experience in the Financial Services market

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
