HRIS SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, Human Resources (HR), to analyze requirements, design and develop effective solutions, and align technology with business strategies. Will coordinate and conduct testing for system support and enhancements; develop training materials, implementation plans, and change management strategies; and collaborate with stakeholders to research and document HR business processes and procedures. Responsibilities include understanding the business policies and procedures of HR’s functional areas and requirements for compliance and government regulations; proactively recommending new technologies, new uses of existing technology, and changes to business processes to achieve organizational goals; leading small to medium technology projects; providing system support to a variety of users; analyzing, developing, modifying/maintaining, and documenting database applications that support the processing, workflow, and management of employee data; developing testing plans and coordinating and conducting testing for system support and enhancements; providing hands-on troubleshooting and training; ensuring that the confidentiality of HR data is preserved; and serving as a liaison between HR and other departments, teams, and external vendors.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in a related field; at least seven years’ relevant business systems analysis experience; commitment to safeguarding confidential data; ability and business process knowledge necessary to understand how different processes interact and how to integrate business processes with technologies; excellent organizational, analytical, communication, project management, and problem resolution skills; ability to communicate complex ideas with diverse audiences, including writing, presenting, and assessing needs; experience working with cloud applications, e.g., SuccessFactors; and ability to work collaboratively. Experience with HR data, systems, and metrics; direct experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems; and experience in higher education or other large nonprofit preferred. Job #17749-107/22/19
