IT Business Analyst - Backoffice SUMMARY: This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned IT Business Analyst to join our growing team. We are looking for professional with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as partner to business functions, leveraging the data and business knowledge while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software applications to transition from legacy systems. S/He will identify opportunities to enable business capabilities and improve efficiency for various business functions. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative. S/He will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind. S/He should teach and motivate others toward success and help IHI continue to further their mission to improve health care on a global scale. The position involves analysis and presentation of information to business functions, including but not limited to Human Resources, Payroll, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Reporting and Professional Services Lifecycle. Essential Functions: Performs proactive and strategic problem solving while considering cross product, cross lines of business impact of design/decisions. Performs data and business analysis to support organizational goals, objectives and needs of various back office business functions Show ability to succeed in a deadline-oriented environment requiring flexibility to changing requests. Show eagerness to learn new skill sets and apply them towards project and team success. Works strategically with internal customers and vendors on key use cases/stories, issues, escalations and issues. Responsible for documenting detailed use cases/user stories to identifying the current- and future-state business processes. Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables. Help evaluate potential solutions by assisting with prioritizing requirements and cost-benefit analysis. Conduct analysis & testing on data and system functionalities with a core focus on business context. Participate in project planning and project backlog management by documenting and maintaining plans, issues logs and test cases. Lead smaller projects or change requests from requirement gathering to implementation. Qualifications, Education and Experience Bachelor?s or higher degree in IT or Business-related field or relevant industry experience 7+ years deep experience with application analysis for full lifecycle of application Ability to identify and articulate business needs. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and meet project deliverables and deadlines Attention to detail understand data flow, relationships, integrations and downstream impact Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem. Personal organization skills experience managing multiple and competing priorities, mission critical business requirement, commitments and interdependencies. Understanding, interviewing and facilitation skills to understand challenges, identify key business goals, measurable outcomes and ability to elicit ideas.
