As an IT Business Partner for Precision Diagnostics where you will drive technology project deployments.

You are responsible for

  • Participating in the strategic planning process with business to understand PD business priorities and impact on information systems and technologies.

  • Providing insights of new technology developments and advice on how this can impact/contribute the business strategy.

  • Ensuring the support of IT and Business stakeholders to drive the business information plan as required.

  • Monitoring Project/Program risks, costs (RoFo), improvement opportunities and value delivered at the Business Unit level.

  • Collaborating with an IT Multidisciplinary team to deliver business value via Philips E2E IT platforms in Philips applications and IT Infrastructure development and services.

  • Provide domain expertise and leadership for the PD Business at the senior levels of the organization. In doing so, they provide direct support to the CIO and Head of IT Business/Market Engagement IT across topics such as IT/Business strategy and road mapping and shaping outcomes via IT to support business needs.

This role can be located in Cambridge, MA, Bothell, WA or Pittsburgh, PA. It is a role where you'll have the opportunity to participate in the Precision Diagnostics (PD) business working in the planning and initialization of technology projects. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Expertise with Business development processes, supply chain, service and underlying IT capabilities required to define, sell, deliver, and support Philips’ customers.

  • Knowledge of the end-to-end processes required in the business domain along with the supporting technologies (e.g. SAP environment, PLM platform (PTC Windchill), SAP MES)

  • Bachelor’s degree recommended in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.

  • Well-grounded in the discipline of IT service management including requirements elicitation, service strategy and design.

  • Experienced at liaising and translating between technology and business needs.

  • Skilled in listening, persuading, influencing and shaping understanding.

  • Business Acumen: Speak the language of the business – understanding asset management, safety, utility provision and disruptive technologies. Understand the value chain, budgets, regulatory drivers, and constraints. Know how to use appropriate metrics to drive value.

  • Experience in Global IT governance model, capability to interact with Center of Excellence, Global IT Architects, and centralized managed systems

  • Align to the IT departments for innovation, Supply chain, marketing and service portfolio with their relevant strategy. Understand the available capabilities and the drivers and constraints for designing new ones in the most effective and cost-efficient manner.
