Biogen IT eDiscovery Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts
As part of this role, the candidate will be working on all data preservation and data collection requests from our legal and compliance department. Ensuring that data integrity is preserved, and requests are properly handled. Work in team setting as an individual contributor to provide IT Litigation specific application support, continue process improvement initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency as well as identify, plan and execute technology upgrades for the systems in support of our dispute management capabilities. Proficient business written and communication skills will be required for creation and/or modification of standard work instruction procedures documentation for the team and other stakeholders to consume. * Major Responsibilities* * Use of forensic tools for data analysis in support of litigation/investigations requests * Process Legal Holds received and work closely with team lead to prioritize the associated eDiscovery tasks. * Locating and obtaining access to discovered Electronically Store Information, applications and tools as an on-going activity to accommodate for new cases and matters. * Create and maintain procedure documentation. * Support and manage our eDiscovery applications including identifying, planning and executing technology implementations and upgrades. * 1 to 3 years of experience working with data forensic tools and/or Litigation specific technologies in support of the eDiscovery process. * Good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment are a must. * Strong working knowledge of Encase Forensic Software. * Knowledgeable working with early case assessment tools such as Axcelerate or Relativity. * Strong working knowledge of searching logic in search environments such as dtSearch, Lucene, and Encase. * Strong working knowledge of conversion and data manipulation * Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Windows applications, and common PC hardware. * Understanding of general network architecture, and common server hardware. * Working knowledge of current data collection, storage, and chain of custody best practices. /“Diversity is key for the survival of our ecosystem.
