What Are We Doing?

Our foundational science harnesses the ability to create and then direct the differentiation of universal pluripotent stem cells into authentic, functional cells that can be used as allogeneic cellular therapies to treat a broad array of diseases. We can also further engineer these cells, enabling them to produce enzymes, antibodies, and other proteins for additional therapeutic benefit.

Description of Position:

This role at BlueRock has responsibility for managing day-to-day helpdesk IT tickets and troubleshooting critical IT services, across all BlueRock sites. This role is both “hands-on” and tactical will be primarily based our MA offices 4 days a week onsite and remote 1 day (Kendall/MIT and Seaport).

You will be responsible for building out the company’s helpdesk functions, resources and services as they continue to grow. Key responsibilities will include establishing SLA’s and KPI’s, managing our IT ticketing systems, providing Azure/SharePoint/Office 365 support, troubleshooting our Audio/Video systems, and working closely with our IT engineers to close out tickets in a timely fashion. This person will work closely with our IT Infrastructure and IT Portfolio team to help support our service delivery management and maintenance needs.


  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk (manage day-to-day IT tickets for various department and functions)

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software and hardware

  • Support Audio/Visual technical activities for various department functions (TEAMS, WebEx, GoTo meetings)

  • Create training material for clients.

  • Document internal IT Policies, Procedures and Practices

  • Manage upgrade and documentation processes and version control.

  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems

  • Support and administrate hardware/software builds and licensing for all sites.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required and 4 years of technical support background or equivalent

  • Previous in a biotech or pharma is preferred.

  • Windows Server/Active Directory/Office365 support

  • Experience with Service Management and Service delivery methodologies

  • Microsoft certifications is preferred.

  • Occasional travel to BlueRock offices when required, typically between 10-20% (Cambridge, New York City)
