In this role you will be working with customers and partners building, deploying, operating and optimizing large complex enterprise environments. You will also be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption and support of enterprise Microsoft deployments.

As a PFE you will be a key technical resource for the customer, primarily focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing tailored guidance. Troubleshooting skills are essential as this role will include working with Microsoft Premier Support to expedite incident resolution. The role can include a mixture of short and long-term customer engagements.

Responsibilities

Serving as a vital customer facing technical resource, you will be responsible for providing a mixture of tailored proactive services and reactive assistance that span the planning, migration and operations of Office 365; ultimately driving successful customer adoption and satisfaction.

We are seeking a PFE who specializes in Office 365 (SharePoint) who will partner with customer business decision makers and IT teams to understand their business requirements and address these using Microsoft technologies.

As a PFE you will be a key technical resource for the customer, primarily focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing tailored guidance. Troubleshooting skills are essential as this role will include working with Microsoft Premier Support to expedite incident resolution.

The role can include a mixture of short and long-term customer engagements.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience with SharePoint On-Premises and Online, in a support or consulting role.

  • Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of SharePoint 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online

  • The planning, migration and operations of Office 365 in both Hybrid and Cloud-only configurations.

  • The planning, implementation, migration and operation of OneDrive for Business

  • The planning, implementation and operation of Microsoft Organizational Productivity solutions – Yammer, Delve, Office Graph

  • Experience building solutions with Microsoft PowerApps, Forms and Flow

  • Experience building solutions with SharePoint Business Intelligence Tools, Power BI and Excel Services 

  • SharePoint Development and Design Experience – SharePoint Framework, Add-ins, Publishing Sites, Reusable Components and Farm Solutions

  • Deep understanding of PowerShell scripting, specifically with the SharePoint Online Management Shell and Microsoft Azure PowerShell 

  • In-depth knowledge of supporting and complementary technologies, such as AD FS, Azure Active Directory Connect

  • Two (2) or more years of experience with Software as a Service and Platform as a Service environments 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where technology and customers' requirements can change regularly.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for providing extraordinary customer service in politically charged environments. 

  • Possess a passion for continuous learning, strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and good judgement. 

  • Ability to apply knowledge to improve Microsoft products and the customer experience.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems. Will consider related field (or equivalent) experience

Clearance Requirement:

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a DoD clearance at the level sought by our customers when required for the role. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel: Travel is an integral part of this position. You should be willing to travel as is demanded by the needs of our customers and our business. This position may require travel to customer sites up to 25%-50% of the time. Overnight travel may also be required.
