As part of Microsoft’s Data Platform & Growth (DPG) organization within the Experiences & Devices (E+D) division, we are responsible for reimagining and transforming end-user productivity across the breadth and depth of Microsoft’s global workforce. This includes defining, creating/building, and delivering the vision for the Microsoft employee experience, human resources, corporate/legal affairs and real estate products, and running Microsoft’s internal network and infrastructure plus campus modernization and hybrid solutions. The Employee Experience team within Microsoft Digital is focused on reimagining the experience of our own employees. We are transforming and personalizing how employees work and collaborate across physical and digital experiences. Teamwork is core to modern work, and we are enabling our employees to work smarter in Teams. When all the best apps and features that each person needs are at their fingertips, everyone becomes more focused and efficient.

As Product Manager you will be at the epicenter of where modern work happens and where collaborative applications meet their users – in Teams. At this role you will have a unique opportunity to establish best practices and manage Teams app catalog for Microsoft employees and our partners. We strive to provide relevant, intuitive, configurable, and high-value apps that are also compliant with internal policies and delight our users. You will be working with an extensive portfolio of apps from different businesses and drive integrations between Teams and other services across Microsoft and beyond. You will become a subject matter expert for Teams app ecosystem and provide feedback to various engineering teams on new apps and product features they create. And most importantly - you’ll be surrounded by passionate, smart, energetic people who care deeply about the work they do and about each other.

Responsibilities

  • Guide app ecosystem development and manage lifecycle of Teams apps in internal catalog.

  • Work with internal engineering teams to build tools for app assessment, publication, promotion, and telemetry collection.

  • Onboard and drive adoption for new Teams app platform product features.

  • Work with compliance teams to onboard vendor solutions for internal usage.

  • Actively collect feedback from internal customers, maintain a prioritized backlog, and work to continually iterate our products.

  • Help to document our success and share our stories with external customers.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of technical program management and product management experience shipping products/services

  • Strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence & drive decisions

  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Microsoft 365 app development or tenant administration experience
