The Program Analyst will support the Volpe Center on numerous projects and initiatives for the advancement of safety for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). More specifically, the Program Analyst will work as part of a cross-functional team to support the FMCSA’s various programs in support of promoting its safety mission on our nation's highways and roadways. The Program Analyst will perform business, data, and systems analysis and effectively communicate findings and requirements to the program team and federal leadership. As part of the contract team, the Program Analyst may also provide systems help desk support, and provide continuous improvmeent feedback to program leadership.
Additional duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analysis and evaluation of business requirements
Documentation of project and program progress and findings
Access reports using FMCSA systems
Attend and document team meeting discussions and outcomes
Communicate with project team, Volpe leadership, and FMCSA personnel
Provide technical program support to project team, FMCSA leadership, and industry
Required Skills, Education, Certifications and Experience
- BA degree in one of the functional specialties (Economics, Psychology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science).
- No degree + 4 relevant years of experience in one or more functional specilties
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office product(s)
Detail-oriented with strong quality assurance skills
Strong customer service skills and experience
