Kforce Project Coordinator in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client in search of a Project Coordinator in Cambridge, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:The ideal candidate will be the Project Coordinator/Liaison between the department of Comparative Medicine and Information Technologies (IT- Business Technologies (BT)). You will be the primary point of accountability for project planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation and reporting of small to medium IT projects. Projects may be concurrent or overlap. The Project Coordinator will be accountable to manage and monitor project tasks during project planning and delivery activities to ensure on-time and quality goals are met within scope and budget. You will work with limited supervision and guidance and apply solid project management and information technology skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, communications and presentations in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of CM IT project deliverables; Assigned tasks may include team meetings, data collection, due diligence, and data analysis; Also responsible for meeting management including schedule meetings, agenda creation, action items and follow-up

  • Accountable to manage and monitor projects, tasks and controls during project planning and delivery activities to ensure on-time and quality goals are met within scope and budget

  • Participate on project teams and coordination/monitor their activities including ensuring timelines and commitments are met

  • Works independently and apply project and program management knowledge and skills to ensure project deliverables, streamlines processes and clear communications and presentations in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • Working with comparative medicine - Previous experience/exposure with the Sciences would be a plus

  • This candidate will be managing the interpersonal side of the project

  • Strong experience coordinating projects/deliverables
