PROJECT MANAGER 3, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) (2 openings), to provide support on multiple concurrent projects that encompass the entirety of the IS&T portfolio. Project scope and size will vary from intermediate to complex and medium to large. Will work closely with functional and technical teams to design, facilitate, and implement solutions that focus on a project’s success and how it aligns with MIT’s mission. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, facilitating, and implementing multiple concurrent projects; building and maintaining relationships and fostering collaborative approaches stakeholders and cross-functional teams; driving effective collaboration by serving as a bridge between IS&T leadership, stakeholders, and/or the project team; regularly updating stakeholders about the project strategy, adjustments, and progress; working with resource managers to effectively align resources across projects; preparing and presenting regularly scheduled status reports; coaching or mentoring less experienced team members; and performing additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; six years of relevant experience in business administration, project management, or a related field; self-motivation and ability to work independently; understanding of and appreciation for how technology solutions can be leveraged to solve current business needs; ability to manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; strong oral and written communication and presentation skills for effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities as needed; and ability to identify the need for changes in practices, processes, structures, systems, techniques, and tools. PREFERRED: project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
