Adecco Staffing Project Manager II in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Additional Details:

Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Length: 11 month contract

Pay: $44/ HR

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5pm

The primary role of the successful project manager candidate is to be responsible for planning and overseeing all the activities within the Specialty Care executive endorsed digital and marketing acceleration initiatives, ensuring that the project milestones are captured, defined, and are completed in a timely fashion. The project manager will work with the program lead and franchise/market leads to build a cohesive global plan and schedule, capturing and incorporating inputs from greater than 6 sub workstreams that should ladder to the global plan. The project manager will monitor the plan and progress and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Project manager will develop, review, track and provide input on deliverables and recommendation on project and coordinate schedule of activities to meet milestones. Participation in Team Meetings. Coordinate meetings. Ensure coordination of the interfaces. Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables. Responsible to track project changes and produce updated plan as agreed with project management. Compile summary documents.

Responsibilities for this Project Manager position:

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and holding teams accountable Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple workstreams feeding the global plan

  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected

  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed

  • Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time

  • Additional Project Management Responsibilities include: co-lead project meetings with program lead, support program lead with drafting communications/meeting notes/powerpoint decks

  • Must also have ability to report on project activity in a clear and concise manner and ability to communicate project issues in a manner that to leads to resolution

  • Project manager will need to work well with large diverse groups in a matrixed, mostly remote environment. Looking for a strong relational leader who has the ability to establish working relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and executive level sponsors. Must be self-directed in a large organization

    Qualifications for this Project Manager position:

  • Expertise in MS Project or Primavera, Office 365

  • Bachelor's Degree/Undergraduate Degree in technical discipline with a PMP certificate

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Years of Experience: 3 - 6 Years
