The candidate will support Draper's responsibility to specify and develop highly reliable, real-time embedded avionics and safety critical systems in the Resilience & Fault Tolerance group. This group provides full spectrum advanced avionics solutions for first-of-a-kind nationally important missions. The candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in real-time embedded software. Activities include the entire system and software life cycle from requirements definition, architecture design specification, implementation through integration & test as well as research support in specific areas. She/he will be expected to maintain state-of-the-art technical expertise in avionics and embedded software engineering specializing in redundant fault tolerant systems.

  • B.S. in EE/CS, Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • 0-3 years of work experience in full life-cycle software development

  • Experience with embedded software development (bsp, drivers, application-level designed for limited resources)

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
