Preference will be given to candidates who have significant experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.

A strong candidate will show:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud System Administrator and Experience Cloud certifications, strong knowledge of Salesforce developer skills, and familiarity with Salesforce application products. Mastery of Salesforce profiles, permission sets and roles. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is an additional advantage.

  • Experience with an agile release process, prioritizing work, defining requirements, reviewing solutions, outlining test plans, and communicating release progress to end users.

  • Experience assessing and rolling out 3rd party packages to enhance the overall Salesforce experience such as FinancialForce, LinkPoint, D&B Optimizer and others.

  • Excellent communication in a variety of methods keeping the stakeholders well informed. Strong customer service experience including presentation and training skills. Experience working with outside vendors.

Additional Information:During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position with the transition to onsite at HBS campus in Boston, MA when the office reopens.

HBS ExEd delivers over 130 intensive educational programs to 13,000 + participants annually.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Executive Education Information Technology (EEIT) within Harvard Business School’s ExEd. This person will manage the support, maintenance and ongoing improvements of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud for Executive Education. She/he triages incoming requests, defines business requirements, oversees development and manages testing associated with these platforms. In addition, assist with the technical aspects of design reviews and business impacts of enhancements being made to both platforms.

This position works directly with internal Executive Education staff to determine technology business needs and communicate project progress. Strong listening skills are critical to comprehend the fundamental business needs. Previous technology experience is essential in creatively evaluating the available technology tools and business process options to arrive at solutions to meet the business’ need. This position also works closely with HBS IT and an outside vendors to clarify any questions around business requirements, review custom development, evaluate data migration, coordinate testing, identify and mitigate risks, assist with documentation and training. This role is also responsible for other duties as assigned.
