Raytheon Technologies Senior Electrical Engineer - Mixed Circuit Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts

We are seeking an electrical engineer to support, develop and initiate advanced research and development projects in their Physical Sciences and Systems business unit Cambridge, MA.

What you will do

The successful candidate will gain experience with analog and digital electronics circuit design to develop hardware solutions needed to analyze physical phenomena (e.g., acoustics, optics, electro-magnetics, etc.) along with testing and analysis of advanced sensors, circuits, or devices.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. (required)

  • A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in electronic circuit design and analysis.

  • Proven ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design, and verifying via test and integration.

  • Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Working Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to apply for and be granted a US Government Security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, Acoustic and IR transducers.

  • Ability to perform circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LT Spice and MATLAB

  • Understanding of Anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing

  • Current DoD Security clearance

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
