Draper is seeking a motivated engineer with experience in navigation system and algorithm development for multiple projects including hypersonics, UAV's, and guided munitions. Responsibilities of the position will include modeling, algorithm development, simulation development, and support of prototype testing. This position will involve research and development of navigation and electronic warfare systems. It is expected that the engineer will participate in business development and customer presentations.
Minimum of an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Mathematics (or closely related field) with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience implementing sequential filtering methods such as kalman filter for navigation applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Project experience involving GPS Navigation system development, GPS and signal processing educational background and/or equivalent experience are desirable.
Programming experience in C, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink is desired.
