The Microsoft Cloud for Industry team is looking for a Program Manager to drive end-to-end success with Microsoft’s strategic customers and partners in Financial Services, with a focus on banking. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with a talented set of stakeholders across Microsoft to shape our platform, drive industry specific features, serve customers, and transform the industry. You will need a broad understanding of our technical architecture and business strategy across Microsoft’s entire platform and have a passion for working directly with customers and partners. This team is tackling challenging engineering and business problems within the broader organization. Our work has high visibility with the Microsoft senior leadership team and many opportunities to share our successes and receive support and guidance. More specifically, you will:
Maintain trusted partnerships across a wide array of disciplines and teams.
Support execution of long-range planning and deliver on the team’s core objectives and key results.
Help build a product execution strategy, including co-development approach with other Microsoft cloud, support, and customer experience teams.
You will take ownership of customer dissatisfaction on behalf of Microsoft and work to find a path to resolution, earning customer trust in the process.
Have a drive to create and improve world-class systems for ensuring we have the right capacity available in the right places at the right time. This role requires someone who can constantly anticipate the customer needs we will have three years from now and ensure we are building to be ready.
This is a role with customer and partner interaction supporting a global customer base and monthly travel is expected.
5+ years of Program / Technical Product Management experience
Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud platforms
Experience defining, measuring, innovating, and driving change in large-scale software products and systems
Ability to concisely frame problems and design simple solutions
Experience leading with and making decisions based on data and metrics
Ability to build relationships with and influence external customers and partners
Excellent cross-discipline leadership, collaboration and influencing skills. Lead, drive change, and influence without authority across groups and executives
Experience in financial services or related fields
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
