In this role, you will lead a Service Delivery organization within North America. You will lead a large team (200+) employees and be accountable for achieving revenue, margin, and cash targets, along with ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. You will be well versed at both the tactical and the strategic, establishing effective operating rhythms with daily management across KPI levers, while also partnering with the SVP, Global Delivery Leader to transform the delivery model, improving time to value for customers by 50% over the next 3 years. You will be responsible for C-level customer relationships and be a trusted advisor and partner, operating as the key point of executive leadership in the region. You will make customer experience a priority, creating an execution culture that is rooted in Lean principles.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated delivery leader who will inspire a diverse, cross-functional team to achieve delivery excellence and profitable revenue growth in our Delivery organization. They will have strong execution skills, as well as strategic leadership and change management skills to navigate through the transformation of a traditional long-cycle project delivery organization to a value-driven services organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable growth to meet/exceed quarterly targets for revenue, gross margin, and cash.

  • Lead, develop and coach a team of 200+ employees; focus on continuous development of project management and delivery services capabilities in the region, creating excellence in role and a strong pipeline of talent.

  • Drive an execution culture that is rooted in Lean principles: Champion and implement Lean into the region and establish daily and visual management for standard operational KPIs.

  • Earn and maintain customer trust through successful project execution – establish win/win partnerships and deepen relationships with customers, stakeholders, and delivery channel partners.

  • Partner with the SVP, Global Delivery Leader to drive an evolving value-based services portfolio, being a thought leader in developing and establishing innovative service offerings and delivery models for the region.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline

  • 10+ years’ experience in projects/services people leadership, management consulting, or software leadership.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Good working knowledge of Lean and experience implementing Lean to drive business transformation.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong business acumen. Purpose led, value driven leader with a track record of delivering revenue and margin growth with 10+ years’ experience driving Professional Services organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience with software system implementation organizations – prior experience delivering utility software project outcomes / products is desired.

  • Strong track record of building high-performance teams; attracting, developing and retaining talent

  • Passionate about driving change/influence across cross-functional and organizational boundaries

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages for customers and employees

  • Solid professional reputation and experience in building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

  • Experience and comfort with Lean principles and tools.
