We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with previous professional experience to join our Web Application Development and Visualization Group within Health Business Unit. The ideal candidate will be able to immediately contribute to projects by developing features, fixing bugs, and mentoring junior level staff across the stack (frontend, API layer, and database).
In this role, you will: - Design overall architecture of responsive web applications - Build web platforms including back-end services/RESTful APIs and databases used to manage, clean, and analyze datasets - Create interactive web-based dashboards and custom reports - Work on multiple products or projects simultaneously - Mentor junior developers through debugging, paired programming, and reviewing pull requests - Have the unique opportunity to conduct innovative work integrating policy and program expertise into technical solutions to create products that improve public well-being - Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches and architecture - Be able to understand and implement application security and data protection - Work both independently and on a team, with developers and policy researchers

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $70,000-$100,000. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
