Microsoft Corporation Software Engineer II, Enterprise Commercial CTO (ECCTO) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Microsoft Enterprise Commercial CTO (ECCTO) team works with strategic customers and sales teams to bring together the right Microsoft products and solutions to bear.

Within ECCTO, the industry cloud acceleration team lives at the intersection of business and technology. We are a multidisciplinary and dynamic team that brings together cloud technologies to innovate for large companies, addressing customer challenges to unlock solutions at the industry level. We partner across Microsoft to produce high-value business solutions prototypes. We identify opportunities for Microsoft cloud technologies to solve real customer problems and build reference environments and proofs of concepts that demonstrate the opportunities in a tangible and interactive way. Through our efforts, enterprise customers accelerate their digital transformation journey and benefit from technical innovation faster.


  • Work within a cross-discipline team to create industry-targeted reference environments and proofs of concepts that demonstrate end-to-end Microsoft cloud solutions.

  • Develop, implement, and package customer workflow features using Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365.

  • Partner with designers, industry subject matter experts, and strategists to understand industry challenges, and incorporate solutions into technical designs.


Qualifications and skills

  • 2 years of software development in C#, C, C++, Java, HTML5 / JavaScript / React, or ASP.NET

  • Front-end web client development

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Bonus skills

  • Distributed cloud services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics

  • ERP, CRM and other business applications, low code development platform experience

  • Location: Redmond, WA or remote strongly preferred
