Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are developing an Analytics and Data Science (AI/ML) Cloud Service for different GBUs to uptake. We need a talented, multi-faceted Software Developer to work on state of the art technologies for developing and supporting our analytics infrastructure and applications on oracle cloud.
Learn our Cloud Analytics Platform including built-in technologies.
Provide technical guidance to development teams for up taking Cloud Analytics Platform.
Create and update sample applications demonstrating use of Cloud Analytics Platform.
Effectively resolve issues faced by development teams in using Cloud Analytics Platform.
Join local and remote agile teams of developers and work with state of the art Cloud technologies.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
Demonstrate Strong Quality Orientation, and get involve in Organizational process that will enhance the Organizational productivity with dedication and responsibility in delivering results and shall be Team Player.
3 years of Software Development / Solution experience.
Good understanding of Cloud Native Architecture and principles.
Strong knowledge on Core Java, Spring framework.
Experience in Linux and scripting (Shell, Python).
Strong debugging skills from client-side to server-side to back-end.
Object Oriented Design skills and understanding of design patterns.
Experience with test-driven development.
Experience in SQL and understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle Database.
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Test Strategies, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in developing SaaS and PaaS and a good understanding of Cloud principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
Experience in Unix scripting, SQL.
Experience with Apache Spark and Spark Streaming, Kafka.
Experience in working on large data sets.
Experience working with complex data models, large databases, extensive reporting and data analysis.
Contributions to open source projects is a plus.
