JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to lead the development and messaging of data insights across occupancy management and workplace with the overall goal of making CBRE Occupancy Management the leader in data superiority and thought leadership. This global leader will establish themes, understand industry/business trends, and interpret data for research, client forums, and prospective clients. The Data Insights manager will represent the platform with key internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop roadmap and communication plan for occupancy management research and thought leadership
Draft key messages and draw out themes from recurring and adhoc data collection
Respond to internal and external requests for metrics, benchmarks, and talking points
Support the development of data visualization for research data, including recommendations on data integration and slicing
Provide insights into how workforce trends impact how space is defined & measured for data governance
Support the development of data quality rules, priority, scoring, and on-going governance, including interpreting changes in data quality
Partner with cross-functional internal teams to identify innovation opportunities related to data governance, benchmarking, and data visualization services
Develop internal training with the goal of Increasing data literacy across global workplace and occupancy management teams

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. MBA preferred. Minimum eight years experience directly related to the delivery of strategic planning services; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five years experience in management. CAFM/IWMS software experience preferred
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Professional certification/designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, LEED) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Solid understanding of the need for discretion when dealing with sensitive information and demonstrates the ability to act accordingly. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite products. Highly collaborative in a team environment. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to clients. Ability to present information in an effective way. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
