The Systems Engineering: Strategic Systems division is actively seeking candidates for Summer Internships in advanced projects. Candidates should have backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related fields. Opportunities span various levels of experience, including Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Graduate-level Summer Internship opportunities.
Candidates should have competency in some of the following: design, analysis, simulation, test, debug, coding, and Model Based Engineering. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as well as the ability to present results to peers and management in formal and informal settings.
Note: This is a general requisition for multiple opportunities available in the Systems Engineering: Strategic Systems division.
Project areas within the division are diverse but may include:
System Design and Supporting trade studies
Evaluation of GN&C System and components
System and component test design, execution and data evaluation
Test equipment development and verification
Enrolled in an accredited Engineering curriculum
Fast, self-directed learner
Clearly exceptional academic record
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Profeciency in MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, Python, Java, C, C++, AutoCAD, SysML, SPICE, Cadence and similiar languages and modeling tools
Active or past security clearance
Proficient in documentation
