The Government Industry Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is a Services Leadership role, in the Azure and AI Domain, that is responsible for leading a delivery organization (Government Industry-focused Consulting offerings) of service professionals ensuring profitable & sustained high-quality delivery of services to customers. The TDM manages a team of consultants, customer pursuits, deliveries and Industry strategy for a world-wide team focused in Civilian Government, Public Safety and Justice customers. The TDM drives business strategy & financials while being aligned to customer and Area objectives. The TDM focuses organizations’ priorities on Delivery Management including customer satisfaction, capacity management/workforce planning, deal proposals, quality pursuits and quality delivery.

Responsibilities

Leadership -Leading Change and Services Innovation – 40%

  • Ensures that his or her team is guiding customer/partners through relevant change initiatives and is competent in core change-management methods and techniques.

  • Delivers proactive change management plans leading business transformation and evolution through Intellectual Property reuse and Worldwide offerings.

  • Leads a consistent delivered revenue & utilization forecast rhythm.

  • Ensures alignment, strong collaboration and change / transformation activities with Services Sales & Account Aligned Delivery organization objectives.

  • Consistently contributes as a proven thought leader on the direction of the Industry services-offerings portfolio.

  • Sponsors projects / customers and initiatives that support innovation, fosters diverse perspectives, and aligns with the Microsoft strategy.

  • Landing Services / Domain strategy to the teams, ensuring implementation

Execution – Deliver Results through Teamwork & Delivery Excellence – 45%

  • Leads organizational effectiveness, quality, timeliness & cost-effectiveness of customer & internal deliverables through 1:1s, feedback, coaching & mentoring.

  • Leverages team to drive opportunities for additional Services delivery through timely and accurate presales support (Scoping, etc.) and reviews Portfolio of deals to ensure deal quality and velocity.

  • Consistently manages areas of fiscal responsibility, staying within budget, and effectively managing resources.

  • Focuses on Business profitability & risk management.

  • Achieves & frequently surpasses personal & team goals from quarter to quarter.

  • Leads team to deliver successful solutions/deal proposals & ensures business value whilst maintaining high (internal/external) customer/partner satisfaction.

  • Ensure the Business meets organizational SLA’s to increase deal velocity and deal quality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Consultancy technology-related experience

  • 7+ years of experience Government Customers

Preferred Qualfications:

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Deep experience with Government customers such as State and Local Government, Law Enforcement, Courts, Corrections or World Wide agencies

  • Experience managing technical development teams

  • Agile and DevOps experience

  • Business Metrics management experience

  • Delivery stakeholder management

  • C-level customer relationship management

  • Customer Value Realization

  • Planning, Organizing and Executing

  • Trusted Technology Advisor

  • Project Management

  • Strategic Insight

  • Setting Goals/Expectations

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree/MBA preferred
