Nanobiosym is an innovative nanotechnology Company in Cambridge, MA, that is developing novel technologies to address a broad range of diseases. Nanobiosym was founded by an MIT/Harvard alum to work at the interface of physics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine.
Nanobiosym is currently seeking talented test engineers with device testing experience. This role will include a combination of the creation of testing plans, functional testing, data collection, and troubleshooting.
DUTIES
Author and maintain device validation and verification plans, test methods, and test reports for existing and yet-to-be released products.
Perform product level device testing, and prepare reports.
Manage testing activities that are in compliance with applicable US and international standards and regulations.
Devise innovative approaches to engineering problems.
Define strategy for testing and optimization.
Create and champion new internal processes of testing, data collection, data acquisition, and data analysis
Exercise technical judgment on test requirements, developing recommendations and translating into a course of action
Work real-time with others on test design and implementation and to evaluate testability of new features/implementations.
Support root cause analysis for engineering and product investigation
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in Engineering, (Electrical) or equivalent practical experience
Experience working in highly regulated industry (i.e. FDA, automotive, aviation, semi-conductor), but preferably in a life science or medical device setting.
Minimum 2-5 years of testing experience in verification and/or validation testing.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment testing and/or developing life sciences products or devices.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
Must have an understanding of principles of statistics and data collection relevant to product testing.
Must have an understanding of failure mode and root cause analysis.
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments preferred.
Experience working independently as a point-of-contact for testing activities with medical devices or mobile health tech products.
