About This Role
We are looking for a promising UX designer to join our growing digital experience team. You will partner with our engineering, product, and research analyst teams in bringing Forrester’s leading research, insights, and data to life through our digital product platform.
We prioritize our customers in everything we do. As such, our ideal candidate is a curious, collaborative individual passionate about developing strategies primarily based off our customers’ ideas. This position entails building a design experience ‘toolkit,’ turning insights into remarkable products (systems design, interaction design, and visual design), expanding the team’s design expertise, and inspiring the organization to produce stunning experiences that unlocks Forrester IP for our customers.
Lead design activities across the digital product lifecycle. Partner with the digital experience manager in supporting the vision for our client platform’s digital experience and creating space for others to collaborate. Mentor other designers to produce their most creative work as a digital experience team’s key member.
Let customers lead the way. Our customers inform where we are going and what we design and build. Refine user personas, and let actual customers’ needs guide you to the best solutions.
Work with multidisciplinary teams, including internal stakeholders to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. Provide insights to develop the right digital experience strategy, solve problems, and come up with solutions inspiring our customers.
Take full ownership and responsibility of your work in every step of the way. Align multiple stakeholders and consider all feedback critically.
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
Identify and imagine future possibilities. Devise new strategies and ideas on improving the digital experience. Step up and help solve a customer pain point with others upon seeing one.
At least two years’ experience designing at technology, media, or research companies. Background in research, management consulting, or other B2B-focused industries is a plus.
You are a customer- focused designer passionate about data, employing a strong visual aesthetic and experience delivering products (B2C or B2B). You never stop learning and iterating on your designs. Experience with Figma is preferable.
Great communication in establishing structured processes and brainstorming initial design concepts with designers and non-designers; the ability to mentor others and bring their ideas to life.
You have a strong attention to detail. You ensure shipped products don’t miss the mark due to a small oversight and enjoy documenting your design work just as much as you love designing it. Misaligned designs give you nightmares.
Customer obsession and an innate curiosity. History of constant improvement through user feedback, studies, data, and innovative ways of testing. You always want to know what is top of mind for clients.
You have experience working on a growing team. You have helped grow design teams by collaborating and mentoring colleagues and pushing them to appreciate the value of good design.
