Honeywell Project Management Specialist in Canton, Massachusetts

The Project Management Specialist will assist Project Managers from conception, through design and installation to commissioning and delivery. Ability to participate in proposal and estimating efforts for sales support on occasion. Manage Honeywell equipment deliveries, storage, handling at site and correct installation by Subcontractors. You will need to attend onsite contractor and customer coordination meetings on occasion. You will be expected to be familiar with our scope and take detailed notes of any action items or questions pertaining to our scope that may be discussed. Assist with project schedule updates, daily report documentation and change order management. Coordinate with Project Manager and Engineers to understand scope. Demonstrate system knowledge and technical expertise. We will provide the technical training needed for our systems upon hiring, as well as continued professional development throughout your career at Honeywell. Keep copies of all project documentation such as drawings, specifications, request for information and addendums, onsite and notify the Project Manager of any changes, major or minor.

This position can be located anywhere in the Northeast, United States.


  • High School Diploma

  • 3+ years experience in Project Management

  • 3+ years experience using MS Office


  • MS Project

  • Strong professional skills in a construction environment.

  • Bachelors degree in Technical Industries, Engineering or Project Management

  • Project management experience in building automation, or technical industry

  • A broad knowledge of principles and best practices in (customer service)

  • Excellent team and communication skills

  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction

  • An ability to influence at the operational level
