The Collaboration & Automation Architect will analyze systems and procedures to find areas that can be improved in the Collaboration space using Power Platform and other Microsoft 365 technologies. This role is responsible for creating a technology vision that is anchored in Microsoft Power Platform and other Microsoft areas, and crosses all aspects of Catalent's technical toolset. This Collaboration & Automation Architect will research best practices in the industry, keep knowledge up to date, and drive and maximize business value for the Microsoft automation suite at Catalent.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Remote (must be within a 50 mile radius of any US Catalent site)
Ensure operational viability and scalability of solution design
Establish architecture standards and best practice for digital automation arm of the Collaboration team
Continuous iteration and improvement on design process and standardization of design patterns for key technologies for core operational processes
Communication to the larger IT organization of our design philosophies, reference architectures, and use cases to ensure our technology partners have the knowledge they need to design solutions in keeping with recognized standards and best practices
Review the technical and functional designs of proposed initiatives and customer engagements
Work across IT teams to facilitate and drive towards solutions and help ensure that there is a good fit across the organization for solution development
Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders and internal customers to anticipate, identify and respond to their needs and expectations
Collaborate with other location-based IT and development teams to ensure they are following best practice
Lead and support the delivery of a broad range of Power Platform engagements
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in information technology or related studies
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies
Minimum of 2+ years leading or guiding development efforts
Deep experience in Microsoft and Power Platform technologies
Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts
Knowledge of agile and engagement estimation techniques and challenges
Demonstrated experience interfacing with executive-level customers and enterprise IT
Possess a deep understanding of low code / no code strategies for identifying relevant use cases to meet customer business, financial and technical objectives
