As a Program Manager, you will be a functional leader for Philips Digital Pathology Solutions (DPS) customer projects. As a member of the North American operating team, the Program Manager mobilizes and coordinates end-to-end program delivery to key accounts.. This includes scoping project needs for prospective clients and characterization of requirements for the implementation teams.

You are responsible for

  • Coordinating and leading the weekly project staff and cross-functional status meetings for each assigned project, and leading the establishment and execution of each project key initiative.

  • Coordinating project-sustaining changes between development, the field and operations for all aspects of the engagement.

  • Reports biweekly project metrics, and leading staff review with the project team. Leads periodic updates to the management team including being focal point for cost and productivity analysis.

  • . A high degree of original, out of the box thinking needed to find solutions, that are actionable, practical, and that closely align with customer goals. .

  • Formulating new sales/business development solutions by integral, original thinking and processes results into an actionable customer strategy. Combings abstract ideas at a high conceptual level, and generating new types of solutions.

  • Formulating, as a recognized authority in sales/business development, solutions across multiple disciplines to effectively achieve goals together.

  • Actively builds networks with key contacts in and outside Philips for his/her specialism to keep abreast of new developments/insights. May lead multidisciplinary change projects, managing a significant number of people.

We are looking for:

We are looking for a leader with functional experience in Program and Project Management, with a record of accomplishment driving cross-functional teams. Ideal candidate can demonstrate successful leadership with an eye for continuous improvement, preferably within medical device or similar regulated businesses.

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering or scientific field of study

  • 5+ years of project management experience; PMI certification preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience planning, contracting and delivering mission critical Healthcare IT solutions

  • Proven skills envisioning and proposing solutions that provide each customer with a unique value proposition

  • Cross-functional team management experience in a matrix organization

  • Ability to manage projects with tight time, cost, and quality targets

  • Ability to work through complicated contracting processes internally, externally and between Philips and the customer

  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Results-oriented with focus on achieving overall business objective

Typically requires a Master’s degree with > 5 years of related experience in sales/business development.
