We are looking for a Roadmap Product Manager for Staining Reagents to help us with the new product development roadmap and discovery phases for Staining Reagent products.
They will work with the Strategy and Innovation team, CDx team, R&D team and the Staining Reagents Product Managers to bring the most compelling opportunities into a defined mid-term product portfolio roadmap in-line with the long-term vision, as well as ensure the effective handoff to the global product manager to push through the product development process.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Collaborate with the Strategy and Innovation team, CDx team, R&D team and Staining Reagents Product Managers to bring the most compelling opportunities into a defined mid-term product portfolio roadmap in-line with the long-term vision.
Handle funnel standard work, inputs and outputs (data analysis) to report out to internal partners monthly and quarterly
Align and prioritize product development funnel (includes internal and external projects) to address portfolio gaps/opportunities by ensuring the prioritized product list in line with key trends and industry/market forces.
Responsible for maturing product concepts before entering the funnel and supporting seamless handoff to product management team through internal and external collaborations and/or VoC (transition to occur at TG0 for organic projects)
Support product management team as needed to move products through to business plan creation, including understanding minimal marketable product requirements, key personas and value propositions to support customer adoption
Own transition of projects through collaborations (external partners, innovation team) into ADP process and product manage until commercialization (TG6)
Handle RUO biomarker funnel with external partner and determine criteria for transition to GPM led clinical APD project
Participate in annual STRAT process and translate broad organizational initiatives into product portfolio roadmap.
Refresh market assessments annually (mekkos)
Create “Want Briefs” and communicate product/technology needs to Strategy and Innovation team or to drive evaluation of enabling technologies
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matters most for this role:
B.S. qualifications in science (Medical Science or Biology)
Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in business or related field preferred, or >5 years’ experience with medical product development
Medical Diagnostics Sales and / or Marketing experience
Experience in Biomedical industry, Medical Device or Cancer Diagnostics industry preferred
MBA level business skills preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including international travel
