Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Dedham, Massachusetts

Description This is a great opportunity for someone who is adept at managing projects within a PMO, communicating with key stakeholders and delivering value based on changing expectations. We are seeking a Mid-level to Sr-level Project Manager to start immediately. Your responsibilities

  • Cooperate closely with the Product Specialist, QA Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Sets out the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Works with and communicates with technical team members, designers, stakeholders, and developers

  • Aquires and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Rallies details from QA leads, business analysts, and technical leads into testimonials

  • Confirms project with suitable ticket workflows and boards

  • Make sure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked

  • Governs deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, Product Owner, and tech lead

  • Directs project planning

  • Works with Product Owner/Product Manager to ensure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clear and achievable

  • Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Time blocks and presides the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments

  • Places schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

  • Coordinates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Facilitates to classify, manage, and identify risk for functional improvement requests

  • Gives a hand to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Administers the daily stand-ups, securing they are brief, timely, and focused

  • Participate to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Applies as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, leading scrum ceremonies, and clearing obstacles

  • Submits detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status Requirements - 5+ years of project management experience

  • Skilled in leading Agile delivery teams, projects and programs

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience

  • Experience leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects

  • Technical experience including JIRA or similar application and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.)

  • Experience managing complex cross-functional and technology projects

  • Experience in utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
