The Associate, Implementation Management, leads and motivates a team of professionals and is accountable for the overall schedule and quality of deliverables. S/he manages and oversees the end to end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of medium to high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization).
Coordinates activities and resources for assigned projects.
Develops project plans to meet prescribed objectives.
Gathers and disseminates information.
Identifies and implements solutions resolving issues to maintain timelines and achieve agreed upon deliverables.
Monitors risk factors, issues, actions items and progress.
Participates in project meetings; follows up on deliverables, coordinating potential issues, documenting policies, procedures and communications for the project.
Prepares reports for management.
Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management.
Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other project managers.
Bachelor's Degree; business administration, management information systems, computer science or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
5-9 years; Managing technical projects
Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification, or PMP-ACP, or CAPM certification
Ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members across the Bank
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Proven ability to motivate teams and drive a common goal
Proven track record of successful technical project delivery
Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong project management and quality assurance skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
Communicates in a timely and straightforward manner
Probes for additional information, clarifies assumptions and confirms agreed-upon actions
