Robert Half IT Project Manager, IT Expert 6+ years in Dorchester, Massachusetts

Description Experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultants needed! You could work onsite with Robert Half local client in the Dorchester, Massachusetts area by joining an existing team as their Senior Project Manager. One requirement for this position is to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. The most important duty of this position is to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. Key responsibilities

  • Lead the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Sets schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

  • Works with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Indicates project with reliable ticket workflows and boards

  • Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Gives a hand to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Combines info from QA leads, technical leads, and business analysts into ideas

  • Serves as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively

  • Participate to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Collaborates and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

  • Directs the daily stand-ups, seeing to it they are focused, brief, and timely

  • Assists to manage, identify, and classify risk for functional improvement requests

  • Creates and handles the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments

  • Monitors and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Supervises deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner

  • Drives project planning

  • Work in close partnership with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

  • Teams up with Product Owner/Product Manager to see to it that the product vision and high-level business objectives are apparent and accomplishable

  • Provides detailed reporting to management on project status, risk assessments, and milestone completion

  • Secure that the functional requirements are achievable, tracked, and met Requirements - Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

    • Flexible and focused

    • Familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

  • navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills

  • Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

    • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

    • Project Management (PMP) certification desired
