Defines the application architecture and manages the lifecycle of improvements, upgrades and continuous maintenance of the CRM portal and the ONE platform
Collaboration of Technical Solution Designs for any new Java application for the CBB (Consumer and Business Banking) area
Participation in the review of Infrastructure designs with engineering team
Provide cost and time estimates for new Java developments for the CBB area
Assign technical resources to projects and manage project tasks to ensure that developments meets project deadlines
Supervise the deliverables of the Java team to ensure that project work meets all contractual service levels associated with quality, project timelines and incident resolution
Directs and reviews the work of the team and provides training to enhance knowledge and skills on Java, HTML and Angular technologies
Participate with Senior Management on the definition of guidelines and standard for the Java development team
Ensures that the team follows standards for development tools/platforms/methodology/controls to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency in application development
Lead code review sessions with the team
Provides technical documentation updates to the latest enhancement or release
Researches technologies and best practices to support continuous improvements in systems and applications quality, efficiency, ROI, etc.
Responsible of the Level 2 Production support for the new Java applications developed in-house.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of staff
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or equivalent work experience
5-9 years relevant work experience as full-stack developer
Experience on Java 1.7 and superior, HTML5, AngularJS, Angular2, Websphere, Spring MVC, DB2, SOAP WS, REST
Knowledge of CRM systems (campaign generation, lead management, questionnaires to customers) and bank products such as personal accounts, credit cards, etc.
Experience managing systems architecture and software design and development
Experience managing an application development team
Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion
Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take
Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others
Able to coach others in the development of their skills
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines
Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information
Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
Able to think strategically and tactically
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
