Associates of Cape Cod Inc. Desktop Support Specialist in East Falmouth, Massachusetts

This is an entry level position providing computer hardware and software support to ACCs end users in a timely and effective manner. 30-40 hrs. / week, scheduled between 7 am and 6 pm arranged M-F some weekends and holidays on request. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: A general understanding of the principles and concepts of computers and networks. Good customer service skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with one or more MS applications, preferably Word, Excel or Outlook. Experience with MS Windows 7 and 10 Professional operating system(s). Good written and oral communications skills, strong attention to detail and willingness to follow directions and established procedures with minimal supervision. High school graduate or equivalent, current college student preferred. Required education: High school or equivalent
