Sage Therapeutics Consultant, Operations Analyst Web Services in EMAIL: Workday@Sagerx.com, Massachusetts

General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is searching for a collaborative, resourceful, creative thinker to assist, manage, and support Sage’s extensive website portfolio. This role will interface closely with Sage’s Technology team, vendor partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate the implementation and support of the systems, content, and processes involved in the company’s growing internet presence. This person is passionate and curious about what they do, staying current on the latest in web design, development, content management, and cutting-edge technologies and will help drive digital transformation across the organization by assisting in the standardization and optimization of web platforms to help deliver effective web solutions to external audiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage updates to the company’s websites based on our production schedule or as interim updates require

  • Collaborate with third party designers and developers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives and technical requirements for new website projects

  • Influence for greater outcomes through strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork

  • Conduct usability testing across a variety of browsers and devices

  • Package prototypes and webpages for regulatory review submission

  • Prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

  • Work with our enterprise-level domain registrar to secure and renew domain names and certificates

  • Work cross-functionally and consult with key business stakeholders to understand user requirements, make recommendations, and gain stakeholder approval

  • Support Sage’s digital asset management systems for video, imagery, and design files

  • Help drive a common platform for related web projects within Sage and ensure security and web maintenance standards are being followed.

Experience, Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills. Takes the initiative in providing input and feedback to key stakeholders to develop relevant and realistic plans and recommendations. Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience managing websites and other platforms that leverage emergent technologies

  • Proficient editing websites using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management system

  • Proficient with front-end website coding languages like HTML & CSS

  • Working knowledge of website analytics and reporting

  • Working knowledge of organic SEO strategy

  • Experience using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, and others

  • Experience building strong relationships with business stakeholders to drive projects to completion.

  • Account for challenges using problem-solving skills and seek to optimize data for the best possible outcome
