Danaher Corporation Field Applications Support Scientist in Framingham, Massachusetts
Do you enjoy working with both customers and potential customers? The field application scientist (FAS) is responsible for application support for cannabis/environmental/food/beverage customers supporting our triple quadrupole, QTRAP and TripleTOF platforms. The FAS specialist will work closely with Sales team, Engineers, Product team and other peer Application Specialists to support pre-sale visits and presentations, product application and demonstration, method development and troubleshooting, customer training and technical support. The job function includes up to 75% of travel in North America.
BS or higher degree is desired in chemistry or biology
2 years or more of strong experience in bioanalytical method development on LC-MSMS on different platforms. Triple quadrupole, QTRAP and Triple TOF preferred
2 years or more of practical experience on LC/MS applications in one or more of the following areas: cannabis, environmental, food & beverage.
Extensive sample preparation and strong chromatographic separation skills and experiences are essential.
Strong troubleshooting skills for HPLC and MS are highly desirable.
Excellent presentation, communication and customer facing skills
Able to travel 75% of the time
