Staples Manager, Career Programs -Remote in Framingham, Massachusetts

Under the general supervision of the Director, Talent Management, this position is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing sustainment of the enterprise career acceleration (Internship, Rotational and Acceleration Programs) and functional job readiness programs. In collaboration with the HR team, inclusive of but not limited to: Talent Acquisition, Talent Advisors and Talent Managers/Program Managers, he/she will flawlessly deploy the program experiences across the enterprise.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Scope, deploy and sustain high impact career program and functional job readiness program strategies that align with the forecasted talent and workforce management trends of the business

  • Design the complete experience for all prioritized programs, including a coherent curriculum path and roadmap that clearly shows the build of skills and knowledge from one level to another; specifies skills and behavior requirement, time application, and work values critical to each level (E.g., formal training, job rotation/stretch assignments, etc.)

  • Provide coaching to peers on how to effectively onboard new hires for increased engagement and retention using available tools and resources

  • Orchestrate eligibility requirements for career program participants, in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team, and provide guidance related to improving inclusion and diversity efforts

  • Track key metrics and business performance to evaluate efficacy and impact of programs and learner experiences, and implement continuous improvement enhancements Knowledge and Skills Qualifications

Qualifications :

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Talent Management and/or Human Resources progressive experience

  • Must be proactive, a self-starter, results oriented and take ownership

  • Impeccable customer service, interpersonal and team building skills

  • Successful track record managing multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision

  • Ability to partner closely with senior executives and execute quickly

  • Willing to get involved in a variety of tasks from high level strategic to detailed and routine tasks

  • Designing and adult learning knowledge

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
