Staples Procurement Operations Project Specialist in Framingham, Massachusetts

Description Position Description:

The Procurement Operations Project Specialist is responsible but not limited to the data integrity of the Oracle Supplier Hub, Coupa supplier master and the Coupa contract module. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity across all data sources. This role will also evaluate and identify any missing data points, review processes and procedures on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to management on how the processes and or procedures can be streamlined or enhanced, and then drive the approved changes through to implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the contract storage process

  • Ensure data accuracy through audits and newly identified processes

  • Data entry of required contract information

  • Parent/Child relationship reporting and data storage

  • Oracle supplier Hub and Coupa interface review and resolution of errors

  • Identifying and resolving problem transactions, ensuring that the resolution is well-documented and communicated to the appropriate parties

  • Performing of various daily tasks within the business unit as necessary to support processing routines

  • Preparing various standard reports

  • Interacting with internal parties to resolve various transaction questions and discrepancies

  • Performing reconciliations

  • Updating process flows and job aids

  • Performing system testing

  • Training new hires on system functionality and process

  • Own and or assist with other projects or duties as required

Qualifications Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 2 years of procurement experience preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel

  • Ability to work on your own

  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Problem solving and identification

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

  • Must be a team player

  • An understanding of procurement processes and strategic sourcing preferred

  • Knowledge of contract language and supplier data preferred
