Staples Project Specialist in Framingham, Massachusetts
Staples is focused on our customer and our community. As a Project Specialist for Staples, you will be responsible for managing projects in Business Essentials categories in Staples Retail Stores. You must be confident working with multiple stakeholders/vendors and be able to manage projects that influence merchandising decisions and both sales and profit growth.

Coordinate and execute all tasks and timelines related to assigned categories
Manage tactical details to ensure complete and timely implementation of all plans and initiatives
Manage cross functional relationships and ensure that other business units are supporting programs around supplier relationships and product selection
Use strong analytical and financial skills to ensure initiative resource needs will align with expected return on investment
Communication & Support:
Provide day to day guidance on current and ongoing projects including reporting and analysis
Support Associate DMM with project assignments across other categories, as time permits
Conduct regular competitor shops and market trend research, to highlight new business opportunities to the team

Essential skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years of project management or merchandising experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred skills and experience:
Self-motivation, organizational skills, written/ verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and an overall understanding of the operations of the Staples business
Strong business aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
