TJX is looking for a eCommerce Environment Manager to join our newest division:TJX Digital!This nimble, start-up like digital organization is responsible for bringing transformative digital innovation to all of TJX and our U.S. ecommerce businesses. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent client and project management skills, proven ability to perform hands on technical work when needed, and ability to lead projects and global teams

The Senior eCommerce Environment Engineer is part of TJX’s Digital Solution Delivery Organization, and they will represent the Digital IT Operations Team on projects to ensure that environments are ready for new features and are operationally ready for implementation. They are responsible for managing cross functional systems environments to support solution delivery and release cycles. The goal is to provide non production environment stability and release visibility to various delivery and support organizations.
Manage Development, Test and Production Environment Requirements for Dev/QA Operations – Manage internal and external third-party hosting partners to ensure requirements are met on-time with high quality. Support QA Testing and release management cycles. Support security standards and protocols.
Assist in the creation of the planning, build, configuration and support of all applications in the non-production environments for projects
Provide technical documentation for cross functional solution architecture, endpoints, configuration and connectivity. Manage data feeds and coordinate resource required to do so.
Coordinate with release management team to create environment reservation calendar to ensure there are no conflicts for the environments and release cycles.
Provide visibility and reporting of integrated environments, build status, availability and release cycles. Coordinate the delivery of deployment of software into the non-production environments.
Provide ongoing support for development and test environments. Ensure environments are effectively monitored by application support team. Point of contact for investigating and resolving project related environment issues.
Management of systems access to internal and external users and 3rd parties. Coordinate setup and maintain ecomm integrations with internal and external systems. Maintain documentation of Firewall rules. Coordinate setup and maintain Site-to-Site VPN integrations and updates to meet specifications within timelines and quality standards set forth
Provide detailed technical documentation and project plans that satisfies business and technical requirements. Propose technically feasible solutions and set accurate expectations on efforts and timelines. Establish success criteria and act as the single point of contact for all technical issues and technical deliverables.
Take on a technical support role fornon-functional requirementsdriving the activities and/or consulting and providing feedback on their design and implementation. Ensure non-functional requirements are implemented to meet the target risk. Partner with IT Operations and project stakeholders to define specific requirements, owners, validators and approvers.
Find opportunities to improve the management of environments including technology to manage environments, process improvements, and automation efficiencies.
Provide incident management support of environments by triaging and coordinating with parties to restore service as quickly as possible.
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience;
5+ years of related IT experience with 3+ years of experience developing and/or supporting application development and web operations;
Experience in Retail and/or e-Commerce is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience delivering internet technologies within B2C - shopping cart, user personalization, and dynamic database architectures.
Implementation experience with web delivery technologies, preferably Oracle Commerce Platform (ATG and Endeca)
Systems design and integration management;
Technical exposure to HTTP/DNS as well as other protocols along with Linux operating systems;
Basic understanding of Network Protocols:
Experience in one or more web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures - J2EE, HTTP, DNS, .NET, C#, JSP, ASP, Tomcat, Apache.
Experience with web services and SOAP protocol;
Understanding of DB SQL Queries, Groovy Scripts, Setup and Management of ESP Jobs.
DNS records setup / updates / maintenance
Exposure to Content Delivery Networks like Akamai and related suite of products/platforms;
Agile/SAFe Methodologies, SDLC– Confluence, Jira;
DevOps – Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins, SonarCube;
Cloud Computing – Rackspace, MS Azure, IBM
Monitoring Tools – AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Gomez, Keynote, Splunk, AlertSite, New Relic;
Performance Testing – HP LoadRunner, Soasta Cloud Test etc., JMeter;
Security - Experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk as well as manual log analysis techniques;
IT Service Management Tools – ServiceNow.
