Staples Sr Analyst eCommerce in Framingham, Massachusetts



Responsible for driving data-based decision making and optimization for Staples Web properties. Support A/B testing to drive the tactical execution and optimization of customer web experience. Leverage multiple sources of analytics (web analytics, voice of customer, competitor intelligence) to understand web site performance and visitor behavior. Provide business insights and recommendations based on analysis to drive increased revenue and conversion and an improved user experience. Share findings from reporting efforts that could lead to testing or enhancement opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs and goals into effective A / Band multivariate test plans, including defining test criteria and method,metrics, creating and executing tests, and providing recommendations basedon outcomes

  • Work closely with Business Units, Product Development,and Product Management teams to identify and answer important business andproduct questions

  • Use strong web analytics skills, business acumen andattention to quality, to provide data and analysis to assist in solvingcomplex business problems

  • Communicate insights on customer behavior and suggestimprovements based on data and observed trends

  • Present analytic output inorder to enable stakeholders tomake strategic and tactical business decisions


Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (mathematics, computer science,statistics or quantitative discipline) with minimum 3 years of A/B Testing& Analytics experience

  • Experience with A/B or Multi-varianttesting tools such as SiteSpect, Adobe Target

  • Experience with web analytics tools such as AdobeAnalytics, Omniture, SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics

  • Expertise with SQL, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree (MBA, etc.) preferred

  • Possess good working knowledge of Reporting tools(Tableau, MicroStrategy)
