Our Solutions Architecture team within Professional Services are experts in package customization and integration as well as total, end-to-end solutions in targeted industry segments. After thorough consultation with our customers and careful analysis, we develop new IT systems or replace existing systems that support customers’ strategic, operational and financial goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES Consults with external customers and implements new IT systems and/or replaces existing systems. Develops and offers integrated, end-to-end IT solutions in targeted industry segments that support the customer’s strategic, operational and financial goals and positions Dell for rapidly growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES Lead in the development of technical solutions of within consulting practice area Independently develops solutions and strategies based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies Consulting activities include identifying needs, developing, influencing, and implementing customer solutions Provides direction for entire consulting project or a project team and makes decisions on approaches and procedures Provides customer solutions for a large project or several small to medium size projects with limited complexity using standard methodology Prepares project proposals, cost estimates and participates in sales and proposal presentations Integrates multiple technologies and applications within a specific customer solution Regularly serves as a post- sales support specialist through the development of materials and by presenting simple solutions to prospective clients as a subject matter expert Expectation to identify additional opportunities within current customer relationships Contributes to the preparation of multiple white papers Oversees team (matrix oversight) up to 20 team members

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide design level services for data protection solutions involving Dell EMC Data Protection Products such including but not limited to NetWorker, Data Domain, Avamar, Data Protection Advisor.

  • Provide onsite and remote deployment services for data protection solutions involving Dell EMC Data Protection Products such including but not limited to NetWorker, Data Domain, Avamar, Data Protection Advisor.

  • Work in a fast paced, team oriented, customer focused environment

Essential Requirements

  • Five years of customer facing professional services experience with data protection solutions.

  • Experience with Dell EMC data protection products including NetWorker, Data Domain, Avamar and Data Protection Advisor.

  • Design and deploy experience in enterprise class data protection solutions.

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of business days.

  • Extremely detail oriented and must have experience in customer facing services delivery.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with third party (non Dell EMC) data protection products in addition to Dell EMC data protection products.


BS Degree and 10+ years of experience
