Summary / Objective:
Support implementation of the RMF at the program level. Responsible for ensuring all products, services, capabilities, and Platform Information Technology (PIT) have completed the appropriate cybersecurity evaluation and configuration processes prior to incorporation into or connection to an Information System or IT system. Ensure capabilities are compliant with cybersecurity requirements in accordance with DoD and DoD Component cybersecurity and information assurance policies and guidance. Work closely with senior contractor representatives to provide adequate Certification and Accreditation(C&A) support to group capabilities and programs. Work closely with Space and Air Force Approving Officials (AO) POCs within the cybersecurity C&A community.
Provide oversight for Cybersecurity inputs to group acquisition documents, are prepared.
Ensure security controls and requirements have been communicated and appropriately resourced by program budget documents and are reflected in the program's requirements database.
Support the PM and ISSM in development of a POA&M and budget that addresses the implementation of cybersecurity requirements throughout the lifecycle of the system.
Support and review artifact entry into Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and programmatic actions resulting in obtaining and maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO).
Ensure that group processes are aligned to, and adequately documented in the program's Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and Program Protection Plan (PPP), and are executed with sufficient rigor to ensure required security controls are implemented, resulting in the lowest level of residual risk to system operation.
Provides input into the key acquisition and program management processes and documentation, to include, but not limited to: the Acquisition Strategy (AS); Acquisition Program Baseline (APB); Cybersecurity Strategy; Program Protection Plan (PPP); System Threat Assessment Report (STAR); Systems Engineering Plan (SEP); Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARD) for Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs) and Major Automated Information Systems (MAISs), and rationale for lifecycle cost estimate for other programs; contracts.

Required Education and / or Experience:
10 years of Cyber Security experience, 5 of which must be in defense acquisitions
Familiarity with the Air Force Intranet (AFNet) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Preferred Education and / or Experience:
Master Degree preferred
CISSP Certification preferred
