Military Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Apply recent, relevant expertise with Combat Air Forces (CAF) operations to drive quality client service at HQ USAF, HQ ACC, USAFWC, and other key operational NAFs, units, and command and control (C2) operations centers. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and capabilities for combat airpower and C2 operations. Solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for clients. Perform or direct detailed technical analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and capabilities. Prepare briefings and report on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership to junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with USAF fighter or C2 weapon systems

-Experience with commands at the squadron or group level

-Experience in an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC)

-Ability to work with command or general staff, including NAF, MAJCOM, Joint, or CCDR

-Ability to provide complex technical briefings to senior leadership

-Active Secret clearance required

-MA or MS degree

-Graduate of Career or Intermediate Service School

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with system and technical engineering

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree Engineering, EE, CS, or a related technical field

-DAU SPDE Certification
