ManTech Asset Manager III in Hanscom, Massachusetts

Responsibilities include:

The Candidate will manage the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function as well as the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.

The Candidate will minimize organizational costs through product standardization and tracking efforts and will track quality throughout the product lifetime.

Specific Asset Management Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a lifecycle repository for all information assets (applications, services, databases, etc.) consistent with an Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) system of record.

  • Track/update/validate Program assets against baseline using the Asset Management systems.

  • Validate all OEM renewals and review list of materials (LOMS) from the vendor for inconsistencies etc.

  • Work w/operators to ensure hardware and software equipment is under support at all times.

  • Validate End of Life/End of Support dates for all equipment with sustainment and engineering by leveraging End of Life Support report (EOL).

  • Review quarterly reports, prepare briefings to communicated to management status of the systems.

  • Work with Financial Management (budget) as required for any recommendations/changes, work with PM for approval on funding re-allocation as needed; Attend management reviews as required.

  • Review all Program Asset Management Forms (AMF) and Product Support Forms (PSF) delivered to the Air Force by system integrators/subcontractors, complete draft Contracts letter and develop required remediation actions if recommending disapproval.

  • Review trouble tickets/ incidents and make appropriate changes in Remedy db.

  • Interface with License Manager for any license issues/tracking/reporting.

  • Assist Engineers in submitting a trouble ticket for any new license purchase(s) and ensure they follow proper process for tracking of licenses.

  • Complete forms to add/transfer any assets from Weapon System IT Equipment Custodian account.

  • Review Asset Management/Product Support sections of Statement of Work and Contract Data Requirements List.

  • Work with the Program Manager in developing non-funded requirements, as well as submittals for any sustainment renewals requiring additional funds.

  • Track shipment of Air Force Internet Control assets using local warehouse capabilities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and Seven (7) years' experience in software related logistics or supply chain management, project management or IT asset management.

  • Three (3) years' experience managing software licensing and SaaS agreements.

  • Prior experience completing vendor evaluation and completing RFP's.

  • Secret clearance required or ability to obtain as a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of purchasing, plus solid negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Ability to prepare and analyze complex technical specifications, bids and proposals.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers; ability to resolve conflicts.

  • Solid knowledge of contracts and the ability to interpret contract terms and conditions; Act as a subject matter expert for the internal customer.

  • Strong understanding of best practices in asset management and managing SW licensing agreements

  • Demonstrated ability in effectively building and maintaining third party/vendor relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability in effectively working within a team without direct supervision responsibilities.

Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field.

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
