Data Product Manager - Chief Technology & Innovation Office

What you’ll achieve
As a Data Product Manager, you will lead new technology initiatives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will need to have experience with driving projects from an initial idea and validating the business and market strategy. If the idea is validated, this role continues to provide leadership to a team of developers while guiding the product from technology ideation through delivery to the product team. A solution strategist mindset is necessary to ensure the dots can be connected between multiple technologies as well as meet customer and industry needs.
Be the product owner responsible for idea validation to grow market opportunities outside of the current product roadmaps.
Lead technology scoping that leverages Market and Industry data, customer feedback, and technology validation.
Lead a development team through prototyping of the technology or solution utilizing current and next generation software technologies using an Agile or Lean Agile methodology in a continuous data driven approach.
Collaborate and interact cross-functionally with product development, product engineering, customers, partners, architects, peers across Dell, and senior management.
Lead change and continuous improvement for this innovation process.

6-8 years of experience with strong technology skills and technical experience (including emerging technologies) such as – Machine Learning, Data management, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Public/Hybrid Cloud Architectures and Technologies Cloud Native Software Methodologies. Software development life cycle knowledge.
Highly collaborative and open; enabling cross-company efforts, working part of a team. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and an ability to articulate technical vision while understanding business requirements. Experience and success performing non-leading customer interviews.
Development methodologies: Agile and/or Lean Agile Development.
Experience managing Pivotal Tracker, Jira, and/or Confluence including Backlog management.
Experience and familiarity with the following: Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, Data Mesh architecture, Common machine learning pipeline tools, Airflow, Kubeflow, Spark, HDFS
Storage formats: Parquet and Arrow
Experience with Big Data and Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI platforms.
Familiarity with Storage technologies, Data Management, Data Protection, Networking and Compute technologies including software defined aspects.
Familiarity with Hyperscale technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google and more.
