Dell Director Architecture & Automation - US Remote in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Director, Architecture and Automation, Offer Engineering - US Remote

APEX is defining the future of Dell Technologies – and APEX Offer Engineering is the group that coordinates the end-to-end life cycle of all APEX offers to market. This includes architecture, automation, validation, multi-org coordination, field support, etc.

We are looking for Director of Architecture and Automation who can lead the Offer Engineering team that overseas rack, network, and management design as well as system deployment automation.

  • Lead team of senior architects who are designing APEX standard rack design

  • Includes design of rack, power, management interfaces, and network switching

  • Lead team of senior IC’s who are designing and developing the automation for customer deployment of entire offer – either in Dell manufacturing or on customer site

Necessary Skills:

  • Knowledge of systems architecture including networking, power/cooling, and systems management

  • Knowledge of automation technologies such as Ansible

  • 10+ years of management experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work across different groups and influence designs
