We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Security Operations to join our Security & Resiliency team, based in Hopkinton, MA. The ideal candidate will join the Dell Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), a function of the Product and Application Security. This role will implement best practice methods, processes, tools and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at unifying, simplifying, scaling and increasing the efficiency of Dell’s product security incident response processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with defined tools and resources to monitor security vulnerabilities, escalations and inquires originating from customers and partners

  • Work with Product and Application Security staff, engineering and support organizations to triage and respond to security vulnerabilities, escalations and inquires

  • Manage and drive open escalations and inquiries to resolution working with cross-functional teams

  • Publish and maintain security advisories and knowledge-based articles across various Product and Application Security programs

  • Generate operational reports

  • Manage against defined process timelines and requirements

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement

  • Research and investigate solutions to improve the capabilities of the team through automation and tooling

  • Administer internal tools to support various programs

  • Support other team members with various operational tasks as required

  • Drive consistency and standardization of defined process

  • Present and communicate status to functional management

  • Implement change as directed in the incident response process

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • 2+ years of related experience, specifically in Technical Support, Engineering Operations, Security Operations, Product Lifecycle Management, Incident Response

  • Experience in security and risk management

  • Experience implementing security and incident management processes is a plus

  • Proven knowledge of defect tracking and case management tools

  • Ability to dialogue with engineering at a reasonable level of technical depth

  • Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverable and manage dynamic priorities

  • Strong analytical, process management and reporting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Results-driven and accountability-minded

  • Working knowledge of scripting languages is a plus
